HONORING THE FEAST OF VIGAN! NARAGSAK NGA FIESTA! (#ICT THEMATIC)

VIGAN CITY FIESTA! FIESTA TI VIGAN, NARAGSAK NGA ISASANGBAY!

Every January 25, the Vigan City Fiesta is held. It is the patron saint of the city of Vigan and is honored on the day of St. Paul the Apostle's conversion. Vigan's streets become crowded with vibrant displays, gift shops, carnival games, and local performers. I went to the fiesta and saw the street dance when I learned that many people were there solely to participate in the fiesta and commemorate Vigan City's prosperity. Visitors to the vigan fiesta were fortunate to experience the wonderful culture of the vigan city.

From this picture, you can see an image which a beautiful girl is swaying and dancing around while holding the Sto. Niño with both hands.

However, Bigueños from all over the nation and even from abroad go to Vigan merely to take in the splendor of this festival, as it is customary for Filipinos to do so in order to celebrate with their family and friends. In taking part in the cultural performances, parades, and street dance organized by the local government with assistance from the local businesses and towns, they are joined by thousands of tourists from other regions of the Philippines and other nations. Additionally, there are art and artisan fairs, food festivals, and a traveling carnival. Carnival nowadays is enticing to see for children, here you can play and have fun. Participants from the different neighboring provinces in the northern region are also sent to compete in the various games and activities, particularly the street dancing competition, whoever wins will represent the tradition of Vigan City. This participation by other municipalities makes the Vigan City Fiesta not only a local event participated in by Vigan's officials, but a national event participated in by other local public heads and national officials.

In this image, you can see the participants holding a plate of longganisa as they are repsenting the product they made and are proud of.

The Longganisa Festival is also held during the Vigan City Fiesta days. The city hosts a parade with a longganisa theme, and once there was an attempt to make the longest longganisa ever manufactured. Because Vigan longganisa has a distinctive garlicky flavor that has become a favorite of the Filipino palate, the event has grown in popularity. Although other producers have attempted to replicate the flavor of Vigan longganisa, they have been unsuccessful. The Biguenos ascribe this to the fact that preparing Vigan longganisa is a centuries-old local tradition and that all, if not most, of the components are obtained from Vigan. After taking part in a Vigan Fiesta event, it makes a fantastic take-home present. To conclude, The essence of this tradition or fiesta is to know more about the wealth of the town as well as for people to know more about this fiesta. Participating in this fiesta is an honor to discover the beauty of Vigan Fiesta, I have seen the treassure of Vigan and I could say that this is the one that they have been preparing in a year.

This fiesta was fun!, I enjoyed it so much!

REFLECTION FOR THIS QUARTER(draft# 5)

In my short life, there are many experiences that could qualify as life-changing. Every new experience was, at one time or another, the first experience. For good or bad, each instance changed the course that my life has taken. But, the most transformative experience was the lesson HTML.

I learned a lot in this quarter 2 in ICT including HTML, which is where I learned more how to type in notepad using different HTML tags. I have to admit that I had a hard time sometimes because the computer made an error but I overcame it with the help of my classmates. It was fun this Quarter 2 and I'm looking forward for the next quarter. I enjoyed the ICT subject a lot. I learned many things from the lessons today Quarter. I feel proud when I finish my HTML activities. I participate in school, as well as traits that I hope to maintain for the duration of my career as a student. In terms of work ethics, I’ve reflected mostly on my test and quiz grades, in addition to my project and homework grades, all of which had led to the formation of my goals for my 3rd Quarter as an tenth grader.

In conclusion, I’ve seen multiple major improvements in the second quarter, in all of my classes. At this point, I can say I’m totally satisfied with each of my grades, and I hope to be able to maintain that statement for a long time. Based on patterns established by my tests, projects, and homework, I’ve been able to create goals for myself that have led me to be happy with my grades throughout the majority of my middle school career.

LET'S MAKE A NEW YEAR MAGICAL (draft#4)

New Year is the time or day at which a new calendar year begins and the calendar's year count increments by one, it is celebrated throughout the world with great enthusiasm. The new year is to bring happiness in the lives of people as it reflects new, fresh beginnings and leaves all the bad and negative experiences behind. It is something that we all look forward to. It is also the most active-minded holiday where people take time to evaluate their lives and make plans for the future. This day allows us to spend quality time with our friends and family.

My family and I enthusiastically rang in the New Year on that special day. We prepare meals for mega noche and for our family to enjoy the night before the new year. We consumed samgyeopsal, a traditional Korean dish while watching fireworks and even watching a movie. On the first day of the new year, I sent happy new year messages to my loved ones and close friends. We had a countdown and watched fireworks. The beginning of the new year is an exciting time for me, making it the most significant event in my life. My new Year's resolution is to be healthy and keep on doing great things, be good in school. Celebrating a new year with family is something to be proud of because it can make you happy and motivate you to do things better.

On the day of the new year, everyone lets go of their negative ideas and is overcome by a surge of optimism. People set new resolutions for their lives on this night, with the intention of keeping them all year long. They make the decision to start fresh and leave all the negative experiences behind. They intend to improvise and restart their lives with greater enthusiasm in the upcoming year. People visit their sacred locations to worship and to pray to God for a joyful and prosperous year. Everyone prays for world peace and happiness in the upcoming year, not just for themselves but for all of humanity.

CELEBRATING A HAPPILY MERRY CHRISTMAS: SANTA IS COMING (draft#3)

Christmas is all about celebrating the birth of Jesus, It is about how he came to give us love, hope, and joy. The birth of Jesus doesn't change from year to year. When there is so much bad news and devastation in the world, this is worth celebrating. It is all about forgiving, receiving, and giving gifts to the person you love the most, this is what I do last Christmas and this is the happiest year of my life. Christmas carols are played on radios and televisions to mark the day, to remind us that Jesus is with us, and never forget what he did to save a billion of us

It is not only about giving gifts but it is focused on celebrating the birth of Jesus. I also attend Simbang Gabi in our barangay and I listened to the gospel. I also received a gift and money from my godparents, my friends, and my family. celebrating and eating Noche Buena with family is the best feeling I have ever felt, I can think of the fact that we will have bonding together with my family on Christmas as a huge blessing from Jesus. I make resolutions, and one of my goals for Christmas is to be proud and kind. For me, making a new year's resolution is crucial because I need to have objectives. A component of my new year's resolution is something I also want to accomplish. It is what I committed to doing at the year's conclusion. It's a terrific moment since I'm setting new goals and learning from my prior failures. I have three primary goals for this year: to read more books, to increase my reading speed, and to increase my academic understanding. Christmas carols are played on radios and televisions to mark the day, to remind us that Jesus is with us, and never forget what he did to save a billion of us.

Christmas serves as a reminder of the value of sharing and giving with friends and family. We understand through Christmas that the birth of Jesus marks the start of great things to come. Typically, it is a chance to reflect on nature and the reason for our existence. Despite being a Christian holiday, Christmas is one of those occasions that is celebrated by people of all faiths and religions worldwide. The heart of this celebration is what brings people together so strongly.
